  • What is Botox?

Botox is a popular cosmetic treatment used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by temporarily relaxing the underlying muscles. It’s often used on areas like the forehead, crow’s feet, and frown lines.

What can I expect during the treatment?

The Botox procedure is quick and minimally invasive. A trained practitioner will use a fine needle to inject small amounts of Botox into specific muscles. You might feel a slight pinch, but the discomfort is generally minimal. The entire process usually takes about 10-20 minutes.

    Is there any downtime?

There’s little to no downtime with Botox. Most people return to their normal activities immediately after treatment. However, it’s best to avoid strenuous exercise, lying down, or rubbing the treated area for about 4 hours post-treatment to ensure the best results.

What should I do after my Botox treatment?

Aftercare is simple. Avoid touching or massaging the treated areas for the rest of the day. Try to keep your head upright and avoid any vigorous physical activity for the first 24 hours. You should also skip saunas, hot tubs, and intense facial treatments for a few days to ensure optimal results.
