    Botox® - Excessive Sweating   from £400

This is a non-surgical treatment option for excessive sweating, otherwise known as hyperhidrosis. The affected area is injected with Botox which effectively blocks the nerve signals that cause perspiration from the sweat glands.

  • What is Botox®?

Botox® is an injectable neurotoxin that temporarily stops nerve signals reaching target muscles. It is used as a popular cosmetic treatment to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by temporarily relaxing the underlying muscles. It can also stop nerve signals reaching sweat glands, and can therefore be used in the non-surgical treatment of excessive sweating.

What can I expect during the treatment?

The Botox® procedure is quick and minimally invasive. A trained medical practitioner will use a fine needle to inject small amounts of Botox® into the target area. You might feel a slight pinch, but the discomfort is generally minimal. For hyperhidrosis treatment, the entire process usually takes about 20-30 minutes.

    Is there any downtime?

There’s little to no downtime with Botox®. Most people return to their normal activities immediately after treatment. However, it’s best to avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat, or rubbing the treated area for about 24 hours post-treatment to ensure the best results.

How long will the treatment last?

As with all Botox treatments, the effect is temporary but can last up to 6 months.

What should I do after my Botox® treatment?

Aftercare is simple. Avoid touching or massaging the treated areas for the rest of the day. Avoid any vigorous physical activity or excessive heat for the first 24 hours. You should also skip saunas, hot tubs, and intense facial treatments for a few days to ensure optimal results.

I came for a consultation. I loved the fact that all staff looked 'normal', without the obviously-had-work-done faces I was expecting, which allayed my fears as a first timer. I loved that no processes or products were pushed on me. I love that Lilliana took time to go through options and finding out what I wanted. I love that she took photos from all angles to do a thorough analysis (and that they somehow looked quite flattering). I loved that at no time did I feel pressured into buying or booking anything.
