  • What is Plasmage and how does it work?

Plasmage is a non-invasive treatment that uses plasma energy to treat various skin concerns, like eyelid tightening (blepharoplasty), wrinkles, scars, and skin lesions. The device ionises gases in the air to create a small plasma arc, which vaporises the outer layers of the skin without damaging the surrounding tissue, promoting regeneration and tightening.

What areas can be treated with Plasmage?

Plasmage is commonly used for non-surgical eyelid lifts (blepharoplasty), treating wrinkles around the eyes, mouth, and forehead. It can also help with skin tags, warts, scars, and stretch marks, making it versatile for different skin concerns.

How long does the treatment take and is there any downtime?

A Plasmage session typically lasts 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the area being treated. There is minimal downtime, but you may experience slight redness, swelling, and scabbing in the treated area for 5 to 7 days as the skin heals.

    Is Plasmage painful?

Most people find the treatment to be well-tolerated. A numbing cream is applied before the procedure to minimise discomfort, and any sensation felt is usually mild and similar to a tingling or slight burning feeling.

How long do the results last, and how many treatments are needed?

Results from Plasmage are long-lasting, often visible after one session, and continue to improve as the skin heals. Depending on the treatment area and your skin’s condition, you may need 1 to 2 sessions. Maintenance treatments can be done every 12 to 18 months to sustain the results.
